Holding the Chandelier
I am low on things to post so here I am holding a chandelier for my wife to decide which style to choose. As you can see from previous photos, we did not pick this style.
I will have more to post in the next few days, the floor in our room will be completed tomorrow.

WE MOVED IN
Sorry I have not posted for the last few weeks but we have been flat out busy.(My Aunt and Uncle dropped by to see it I was OK since I have not posted for so long). We had to pack everything, get the house ready to sell. Also, had to do our day jobs. We moved last Friday in the morning and then had to rototill the back yard in the old house. Saturday we put sod in that house. We are still moving somethings from the old house and tomorrow we have to do the final cleaning. Things are starting to fall into place here, slowly but surely. I just hooked up the washer and dryer today.
This is the water tank and hot water tank.
This is the second floor, we call it the space shuttle room.
This is the boiler under construction; it is in working order now.
I will try to post on a regular basis, there is still a lot going on. My wife will not let me post photos of the inside yet. There is still some moving boxes and floor boards leaning on the walls.

Chandeliers and Floors
Today the electrician installed almost all the lights. The one's we have been waiting for are the chandeliers in the greatroom. We thing they look awesome! You may notice that they are painted slightly different, they have the same colors but they are opposite of each other, kind of a mirror image.
This is the "special" floor I spoke of a few days ago. These are called Flexi Tile and they are made of PVC. The have a very rubber like feel and they kind of snap together like a jigsaw puzzle, but he linking is hidden so they look like real tiles. Friends of ours have a floor like this and my wife really liked it so we decided to change it up a little and have at least one room with this. You may notice they have footprints on them, the house is still covered with sheetrock dust and it gets on everything.
Coach lights in front of the house. We really like the "onion globe" style.

Quick Update
Just a quick progress update. We now have lights in the kitchen; the electrician started his finish work.
The flooring continues in the greatroom, just a few feet to go.
Scraped boards ready to be installed.
I put up this bat house. The bat guy said that they probably won't go in there until next year but just in case I set it up(and I am not going on that roof again). The bat guy is going to finish sealing all the cracks tomorrow and start the eviction process.

Boiler, Air Handler, and Super Store
This week the Boiler and Air Handler are being installed. On the right is the Boiler, now I always called one of these things a furnace, there is a difference. A Boiler boils water and passes it out to heat something,a furnace heats air and that is blown around. On the left is the Air Handler, the hot water from the boiler is passed through coils in the air handler and that heats air which is then blown around the house. The same thing will happen with the compressor(not installed yet) where chilled water is passed through the coils.
This is the Super Store, a basically a hot water tank. The water in the boiler is passed through coils in the tank heating water which is used for washing etc.
You may have noticed the Super Store is upstairs as will be the water tank. It was decided that there was just not enough room in the Mechanical Room so something had to move upstairs. We did not know what size these things would be before we built the room.
After work for the last three days we have been scraping boards getting them ready for Tony to lay down in the next few days. He is also bringing in some help to finish the scraping and finish the flooring. We ordered some "special" flooring for the bathroom attached to our bedroom; you will have to wait and see what it is.

Flooring Continues
Flooring continues, it is taking longer than expected but we are making progress. Part of the problem is these boards were originally upstairs in the Grange Hall and each needs to have the dirt and finish scraped from the sides to make sure they fit well, the scraping will continuing this week. Our carpenter has a previous engagement this week so he will be away at least until Friday. This is the view from the Greatroom into the kitchen.
One view of the Greatroom, three quarters of the room is done.
Another view of the Greatroom.
Saturday the plumber put the well pump in, this is the new well cap.
This week the contractors will be finishing their work. Hopefully, the furnace, super-store(hot water tank), air handler, air conditioner, all electrical(switches, plugs, lights, exhaust fans, etc. Some of the plumbing will be added this week but I think we need to put in the bathroom floors first before the toilets.
